Quick question: How do you get your dog in the RTT?

With that last shot, are you around 10k? That seems to be the snow line based on what I've seen. Where were you camping?

That pic was taken just outside of Leadville headed towards twin lakes. I cant remember the pass but it was just above 11,000ft. The road is on the left just across from the mt Elbert overlook about 5 min outside of Leadville.

She sleeps in the truck. She's a little too big for us to all fit. I'm not a fan of carrying a 60lb Doberman up a ladder and my GF doesn't like her in bed considering how needy my Doberman is.

Anyone ever give you crap about sleeping out on the trails in CO? I'm thinking about doing some back country photography in August and don't want to drive in after sunset or drive out at 3:30am... Tips?

Most are on blm or national Forest land and dispersed camping is allowed anywhere, or in existing sites which are pretty much all over the place.

I was trying to navigate around a tree and ended up sliding to the left. I drug the driver side passenger door along a somewhat jagged rock (no, sliders would not have helped)....so at least the driver side now matches the passenger side doors...:reddance:
