Replaced the brake pads today. It took 41 min total! A new personal best....

I don't know why anyone would pay someone to do that job :wow:

I am admittedly not a dog-person (not a cat-person either, so shut it)

but i gotta think, when your dog meets other dogs, he has to brag

I moved from MI to CO about 8 years ago. I miss the lakes, but am never moving back. Unless zombie apocalypse. Fresh water would make it worth it then in my opinion.
 
Went through every single page read every single word and viewed every single photo. Let me start by saying active duty Army veteran "spec ops". 15TEP owner, and Doberman lover. I pulled the trigger on trading my 2012 TRDFJ. I have reverted the choice from the moment I left the dealership. I am a car guy and I bonded with my fellow FJ owners like I have with my fellow 370z owners and clubs I've joined. I've followed the T4R forum for a while and couldn't find the brotherhood I found with my other vehicles. Thread after thread I read people turn to bashing on one another especially the TRDPRO owners, which I would have been if it were on the lot at the time of purchase. Until this week I've made zero post. But decided to purchase some items from forum members. I was all but ready to give up on these forums and the 4Runner and go back to an FJ. Mostly because I had grown distant from the crowd of T4R owners I witnessed here. Not my crowd of people, nor do I care to be associated with them. Tonight I found your thread. Your rig is over done as we would say as a POG or a geardo. You life style was simple your photos ere captivated and finally I felt I had found the true spirit and embodiment of what a true fan of 4Runner is and should be. Picture after picture beautiful scenery, you, gf, dog rig; family if you will. Owing a runner isn't best look best gear model etc... It's about the adventure and memories. You have inspired me to purchase minimalist rig gear and take my wife and dogs out to see the country we fight so hard to protect for years of past and to come. I've deployed so much for so long I've forgotten how beautiful the country is I defend. I owned a condo in Destin fl, for 5 years. I was deployed 70 percent of the time because every time the calls come I go back to back even. I know a marine when I see one and I know the cloth you come from. I salute you. I got emotional when I saw you hung up the boots and found a way to humanize yourself and continue to give to the American people. All the plaques medals and awards I've been given can't compare to what you've inspired in me tonight, and several others over time. Maybe the 4Runner was a good buy especially if good people like you own them. If Toyota hasn't seen your work they should. Perhaps a freelance photographer for them would be a good job. Brother you make the 4Runner look like a fun young cool hip vehicle to own and drive. Something positive. Exactly what America needs in these trouble time. Semper Fi!
