Your posts inspired me to go out and take some astro shots at my family's ranch. How do you categorize your pictures on your computer? By date, location, type?

Haha I did the same thing! There was some light pollution along the horizon, so they turned out a little strange.

I usually categorize them by date. Then within that folder they're named by date/name. Inside the same folder I have the RAW images. Remember, this is how I do it. Others may have a more simplistic way, but this seems to work for me.

I really like the head lamp photo, I'll have to try that next time. A lot of my other shots had lots of light pollution in them.
