What's up with this?: 2018 Vehicle Dependability Study: Midsize SUV | J.D. Power
I was getting a little bit down about the things I didn't like about my 4Runner yesterday (namely Entune, power, back seat space, crusing comfort, etc.), and I even had the gall to browse a few Ford F-150s and reach out to a dealer about trade in.
After realizing this would be a terribly stupid thing to do after 6-months of ownership, I started to try to make myself feel better by looking at the all reasons I switched from an F-150 to the 4Runner in the first place. At that point, I was thinking "lets just take look at a few reliability ratings to help reinforce why the 4Runner was a solid choice". That's when I came across the ridiculous-ness of the above link (or is it?).
Based on my prior ownership experience of 4Runners and Toyotas in general, as well as that of my friends and family, about the only thing I can say to J.D. Power is:
