jack to install nerf bars?

did you guys put the truck on a lift to install nerf bars?

i got the steelcraft coming today and want to know if i'll be able to just slide under the truck to install or do i need a jack..

thanks.. doesn't look like there's much room after the bars are in place to be able to tighten it..

I didn't need one.

I slid right under. There's plenty of room to work if you're on your back.

You don't need a jack. A metric ratcheting box end wrench, however, will make the task much easier.

i did the install and it looks great.. question for those who's had it for a while.. do these tend to loosen up over time/usage?
