The run will be Jacoby Canyon to 3N16 through Holcomb to Polique Canyon coming out in Fawnskin. Also you can call the Caltrans road conditions number to check for chain requirements 1-800-427-7623.

All of these have the potential to be snow runs, of course that is based on weather which None of us has control over and currently we are experiencing Spring warmth all this week.

I'd be interested. Ive been kinda lacking on taking the rig off road, Ive also done a "little" work to it since Ive last seen a real trail. Hopefully my schedule permits. Ill keep an eye out on the thread! Have a nice holiday!

Jan 2012 28-29 weekend T4R Trail Run

Hey guys - I am good for Jan 28-29 weekend. The more notice the better. Thanks for placing an event with more than a weeks notice. :thanks:

I am sorry about the no call/no show on November's run. I had to replace a starter that went out, and found a huge 5 inch crack in my radiator on the same day. I have got those fixed, and hope to get my new tires just after x-mas.

Thanks!

Miller Jeep Trail is closed in January as part of the seasonal closure for winter/spring.

Winter is generally a good time to do your desert runs. Calico, Anza Borrego, Truckhaven Hills, Stoddard Wells OHV. The other option is to put a snow run together. Snow runs are generally done on easy trails to site see and with the added difficulty of the snow makes it exciting enough. Examples of a snow runs I have done in the past are as follows

Green Valley Lake/ Crab Flats 3N16 around to Big Bear. Long drive in the snow but not to bad, however some sections can get deep and be an issue with our 2wd guys.

Rouse Ridge to Thomas Mountain in the San Jacinto area.

I am open to a two-day event if temperatures/weather permit. I'm guessing if we do a snowrun, it may be a bit too cold to camp out in tents. I would love to do a snow run.

i have to let the boss know what day I want off 2 weeks in advance.

I'm down to go, but I need a specific date before i can guarantee my attendance

I have also been looking forward to attending a meet but due to scheduling I have not yet been able to Attend. Hope I can make it out next month.

New Years Eve

Heading out to superstion for new years not sure if any one else is going to be out that way......

Confirming a date...

Please guys - Lets start to set these dates in stone a little bit more earlier. There seems to be a few others that could go, only if we give them at least 2 weeks in advance. The more the better.

So what is it? 14-15 weekend? If so, What day, or both? Let's make the call.

Food for thought, did anyone want to start scoping for Feb 2012 run? :thanks:
