JAOS skid plate - any pics?

Looking for pics of the JAOS front skid plate installed on 4th Gen 4Runners. Can anyone help with some nice close up shots?

Did anyone notice that the factory front skid plate has vented mesh openings....probably to help cool the front diff

Thanks Noloc and Jaebster, those pictures are jsut what I was looking for!

Since both of you have removed the factory skid plate and installed te JAOS can you comment on how much more protection you think the JAOS offers? Does the JAOS offer more coverage area and is it considerably beefier?

You don't actually remove the factory skid plate. This sits right below it. As far as it being beefier.. well to be honest, I think it just looks great. Where it adds protection is the opening for the radiator. Other than that.. if you're looking for real protection, there are other plates made more for that kind of abuse.

Thanks for the great pics, this is exactly what I was looking for, for highway protection. Sitting in front of my '07 SE, looks like that radiator is right in line for some highway garbage to take a chunk off of it. Maybe a Westin Safari and this.

+1. Don't expect this skid plate to do much except look good and perhaps prevent plastic trash bags from getting caught under the car. Seriously though, it's better to have something than nothing.
