Or you could start your own importing business. Demand seem good and I'm sure 4Runner owners aren't the only ones who want JDM parts.

I think it's a good way to show future members that you are a trusted person to do business with and I hope the other members can leave you feedback as well. It's something that is done at other boards so I think it should be started here as well since this board is growing in leaps and bounds. Thanks again for all the extra time you put in.

I have recently purchased a new 04. I really like the idea of the trash bags and want one.

Currently I work at the Japanese International School in Hong Kong but am moving to LA in July. My wife is looking after the car in LA until I get there!

When I leave HK I will travel to Australia before going on to LA.

Soooo.....here's my questions (finally they yelled in unison!)....

Seems like in Oz they lo longer sell the 4Runner only the Hilux and there seems to be no part listing for the trash bag in the 'lux. Do any other model Toyotas have the same bag? I was hoping I may be able to get the trash bag in Oz from another model...looks unlikely.

I have several friends in Japan. Can I avoid import duties somehow in the US if they send it to me? eg - if it was sent with other 'gifts' etc?

I guess the other alternative would be to get my friends to buy the bags and send them in the school bag that gets posted each week from Japan to HK. Hmmmm...wonder whether the school would be 'down' with that! Teaching resources you know ;): maybe a design technology class project :D
