Which is better and why?

any clearance issues with the JBA's?

I was set on camburg for a while, but the idea of quiet rubber bushings and easily replaceable ball joint intrigues me . Also, reports are that you get more caster from the JBA.

I don't have a set of JBAs to compare to my Camburgs but I can tell you that I do like JBAs bolt in balljoint better than the pressed in BJ Camburg uses. Also the JBA BJ is supposedly a 1/2 ton chevy truck BJ which any Autozone, OReillys, or Napa should have on hand, and they are cheaper.

My Camburg UCAs are quiet but I bought extra grease from Energy Suspension especially made for poly bushings and I applied it very generously when installing them.

The one disappointing area with the Camburg UCAs was the lack of additional caster like they claim.

If I ever have a failure with my SPC's on my 4th gen or my Camburgs on my 5the gen, I would probably give JBA a shot. One of my co-workers runs a lot of their stuff on his Jeeps and has nothing but good to say.

I've been thinking about grabbing a set of the JBA's as well, so I am interested to hear what others say who have had them on their rigs.

I just put camburg ball joint UCAs on and got absolutely zero additional caster. Nice product but far from what I needed for the truck. Talked to original seller who then referred me to camburg who denied there was a problem. At least I have an entire new front end trying to get the caster I needed. Still don't have that but everything is shinny and new. :)

Camburg should get you at least some positive caster, sounds like you need a new alignment guy but it seems jbas are getting much higher and desirable numbers

Had three alignments two different shops and it was sent to a very trusted frame shop as the explanation I got from the first shop was that the frame was bent. So after extensive measuring on the frame rack it has been determined that the frame is not bent and is one Of the straightest they have seen in a long while. But I do like all my new parts they are shinny. :)

Anybody see any reason to jump up to and wait for the hd arms over the standard arms? Any notable differences in feeling between the two?

I've been wondering this same question. The description mentions it is "thicker tubing 3/16" wall and 1-5/16" dia with 11ga guests on the bushing bongs"

That sounds good and all, but it cost $250 more. I'm looking to do light off roading in my 2wd, no jumps, no crawls. I'm thinking the HD is designed more for that stuff.

I just signed up to get more info through email. I'll see what I learn.

The standard arms looks built as well as any quality UCA.. the HD's are probably for extreme rock crawling/long travel or desert racing applications I would guess.

I have been deciding what ones to buy as well.... Total Automotive performance is carry some nice looking ones as well made by Dirt King. After the forum discount they are $640.
