Lockers are wonderful. This is definitely not my first Toyota build. I learned a long time ago, if I'm pulling the pumpkin for whatever reason (regear or whatever), I'm doing the lockers at the same time.

This switches are made by a company called AOB (Air on Board).

Basically I ran the switch to a relay that breaks the hot wire on the driver front wheel sensor. With the break in the wire, it disables ABS, VSC, and traction control. All things I hate offroad. When you get back to pavement you just have to turn the switch off and cycle the key in the ignition and all the Christmas tree dash lights turn off. It will leave a previous code stored for the ABS/trac computer, but nothing I care about as long as the dash lights go off.

Looks great! Was thinking about putting a compressor in the rear cubby area too. How'd that go? Any trimming required to fit? Just run the wires to the battery and it's good to go? Looks fantastic man.

Not going to lie. The compressor install was a giant pain in the dick. I had to remove the passenger rear seat, all the plastics, and half the rear carpet. Had to trim the back side of the plastics a tiny bit to clear the mounting bolts, and you have to clock the air compressor juuuuuuuuuust right to get it to fit and still have the cover fit. Not to mention running the wires to the dash, power wire, and air lines. And because I'm an OCD anal retentive prick, I felt the need to run the airlines through the frame to mitigate the risk of catching them on any stray rock or branch.

Had to be done. The reality is this is the wife's rig, hence soccer mom. She would biatch me out six ways to Sunday if it was anything less than perfectly visually appealing. :whipping2

I just hope I never have to remove it.

Can you elaborate on what wire you have in the switch to break the circuits for the nannies? I used an FJ VSC off button and it works better but not exactly what I'm hoping for...sometimes I still get the ABS to cut power to the wheels which both the noise and the feeling stuck option drives me bonkers...

Driver front wheel sensor goes into the spindle. It's held in with a single 10mm bolt. Unclip the wiring harness plug from the sensor (or if it's stubborn, just remove the bolt). Chase the wire up the spindle and along the UCA and around the back side of the coil bucket. From inside the engine bay near the coil bucket there is another plug. Unclip that plug as well and you can remove the whole harness.

Peal back some of the rubber shielding and behind it are two wires. All you need to do is cut one of the two wires (doesn't matter which one). This breaks the wheel sensor circuit which would disable all the nannies. Solder in some longer wires on each side where you cut and extend it to the relay and wire it all up, electrical tape, reinstall, and you're done.
