JBL 10 Speaker System likes Digitally Remastered CDs!

I have come to this conclusion after buying a couple newly remastered CDs of older music I've had. The remastered ones really sound MUCH better, and actually has pretty decent bass, even at mid- volumes!

I know the JBL system itself is/ has a digital processor, so maybe it picks up a better signal with these!?

FM music comes across nice, loud & crisp too. Only the older CDs sound funky.

Thoughts?

i dono.. i think older cd's in general sound a little crapy..

i got a bunch of cd's from the early 90's that i still listen to and they just sound diferent.. like they are 'quiter' then new cd's..

i would hate to have to re-buy all my old cd's...

I have found some of the re-mastered CD's to be more clean sounding. I don't know what they do to them though. Is there any CD's in particular that you are referring too?
