JBL in Tundra vs JBL in 4Runner

OK I gotta ask, I have an 05 Tundra DC...an 03 4Runner bot have same stereo less speakers in the Tundra...Tundra sounds great at 10 and up on the volume.....and in the 4Runner you have to turn it to say 35-40....what gives???? The 4Runner does have 10 speakers....CSM-H

A lof of things are different... just because both say JBL doesn't mean they are the same JBL. Also vehicle dynamics make a huge difference. The truck has less room to fill for 1, and 10 speakers is bogus considering tweeters count as a speaker. It's all hype, which is why there is an "aftermarket".

I think the sub is under the seat in the Tundra while its in the back in the 4runner plus all of what Tarheel says.
