Hello T4R! just joined the community and thought i'd introduce myself. I just recently bought a '96 4runner limited with 182k miles all stock for $2400. There was really no problems that i noticed other than a cracked windshield and the normal wear and tear of the front leather seats, some squeaking on the passenger side when breaking as the suspension recoils up (still trying to figure wth it is).
Here's the first pic i took when i brought her home
i decidided to take the running boards off to make it look a bit higher (day 2)
fixing the cracked windshield
oil change, changed the transmission fluid, changed all the belts, water pump, and thermostat.
decided to take it offroading to test its ability. with stock suspension i was really surprised to where it took me
death valley (mengel pass)
barstow
i found a good deal on CL's on 16x8 mojave teflons with BFG all terrains 255/70/16
found a set of 7 wrap LC coils & and tundra struts
the coils in this picture were the wrong ones
didn't have a clamp so i wired it up to keep it compressed
here's a before and after picture
