JDM Black tail light

I just got a price of $395 for a set of JDM black tail light and $502 for the JDM black headlight SHIP for 03-05 4R. from carson toyota. Is that a good price for the set??

Seems about right for the price also why no one has really bought them except that NY cat with the Black V6 Limited, whats his name Brooklyn something.

Are they just housing or do they come with better lights

i guess no one want to pay that much for them?? the black would look tight with my white 4R also the stock light would be OK if they did not have that pink tint on them. not to many people have these light on their 4R. I have not see any around here. I want my 4R to be different as passable! I will probably get the headlight too because i plain on getting some HID and the black will reduce some on the glare

I would personally get the tailights. The headlights.. we'll.. I'd just take them time and paint it myself.

I am not sure if it is a good price but it is a fair price considering they have to be shipped overseas. i am surprised there hasn't been a company state-side that has started producing these.

If you feel the price is too high, you may talk to the dealer who carries these for trade in. I mean, trade in your replaced stock head light and tail light. They may also run to $400 for a pair of head light. It will make the price less concern for this mod.

I just put these tail lights on my silver 05 Sport

$380 for the tails
$455 for the headlights (havent put them on yet...not even sure if i'll like them *haha* but I got them for the hell of it)

Those like do look sweet and are an big improvement (what is up with the pink tint,the older Accords used that too) but Dang(!!!!) that price is up there but if you got the scrilla then have a ball since the true clear really makes the lights stand out..

I wish they sold a little nicer ones for the 3rd gens but the majority just scream "late '90s rice" and just look cheap. I see a few that are more the carbon fiber look and look better than the silvery Altezza lamps but nothing I'd put on my Runner right now.

I did find the JDM signal lenses for under $40 for my 3rd gen and that was an improvement and soon I'll have LEDs in place along with the corners.

I dont think that you can just buy the clear lens by itself....you can only buy the entire tail light assembly..US or Japanese spec.

Someone painted that gay pink cover with Testor Clear Candle Apple Red spray paint. I am going to go to my hobby shop and do the same. $380 is a big chunk of cash.

That does sound interesting....instead of going to clear...just make them more red than pink....

I will...just need time to do this. Just bought a house and will be busy with that until the end of May.
