my 4r is in the shop getting my recent accident erased, and enterprise gave me an '08 jeep commander. i've never missed a car as much as i miss my 4runner now!!
the jeep has a v8 (mine's a v6), but is waaayyy slower. the transmission takes years to shift, and does so quite frequently. the jeep is easier to drive if you just leave it in 3rd, so it isn't hunting gears the whole time. that doesn't really help the mpg's though; 13 on the avg gauge right now, and i've put about 200 miles on it since tuesday (today's thursday).
and another thing; if the 3rd row seats are up, you can't see anything at all behind you.
thats all of my rant. just drove to the office in rush hour traffic, and got mad at it, thought i'd vent on here
