Jerry cans or rotopax?

My cbi rear showed up this week, and now I don't know how I want to configure it. What do you prefer? My original plan was to mount a 20-25qt cooler in the spot where the jerry cans go and mount rotopax either to the roof rack or in the center of the spare tire on the swing out. On the other hand, the jerry cans kind of complete the harmony of the bumper.

I'd vote for jerry cans, Rotopax are stupid-expensive for what they are, and hold less fuel than a good ol' jerry can. Plus, I'd rather have the cooler inside where it'll stay out of the mud and road grime.

I was debating this as well. I went with jerrycans. Easy to come by, and just work.

My vote is for the Jerry cans. They are classic looking, plus when you have a change in altitude going from sea level to 6k ft, you really don't have to air out. With Rotopax, if you forget, they will tend to develop a leak. Metal cans are more forgiving than the molded plastic. Now if you're on a dual sport bike, its Rotopax all the way.

Well I mounted the bumper and went ahead with the jerry can mount for now. Still need to button some loose ends up as some hardware was missing, find some cans, order my spare and move my exhaust.
