Jetzon Tires?

Anyone ever had these? I don't need to be told they're not exactly Nittos or BFGs or Yokohamas; but hey, they're brand new, and came with the vehicle, and will be enough for what I need for this winter.

Specifically, they are "Jetzon Radial SUV" tires.

Never heard of them. Their website says they have been around since 1965? Really? Maybe they have been making tires for someone else that then rebrands them or something. Be careful with low budg tires. Some are made in China and can be dangerous from what I have read.

Well, if I was going to do much more than drive to and from work this winter with them (~ 15 miles away, most of it Missouri back roads, under 55mph) I might actually worry.

I may also try to trade them in somewhere locally.

We recently bought a CPO Odyssey for my wife to haul around our litter in (twins + 2). They threw some cheapo tires on it right before we bought it. Drove it off the lot and straight to Discount. They gave me like $200 bucks towards purchase of new tires plus they had a promo going on so that was another $75 or $100 (can't remember) so I had like $300 to put towards real tires. Give that a go. Can't hurt trying.

I actually saw a set of Jetzons on a truck recently. Never saw them before and that's about all I know about 'em...sorry.

Never heard of Jetzon truck tires. My sister had some Jetzons on her Jetta and they lasted over 45k miles and had decent traction. Not bad for a cheaper off brand tire.

That's about what I've heard of them. I did some nosing around, and they are owned by Treadway, which is (eventually) owned by Sumitomo.

I've not heard good nor bad; so unless I see something, I'll probably keep 'em on my vehicle until the first decent snow. If it turns out that they totally suck in the snow, then I'll immediately put something worthwhile on (Michelins, Yokohamas, etc.)

You guys must all be young, can't believe nobody has heard of them. They have been around for a long time and are a middle of the road tire. I will admit I didn't know they were still around though, I haven't seen them for about 15 years.
