that 500/1 retails ate 525 i think, and by the way wat size is that sub, i know that its a W3v3 series.

Actually I would have to say that is a W1V0 the older W1, looks just like the two I have in my 4R, the W3 have thicker rubber around the cone,and they say W3 on them, was just looking at them earlier to day at the Audio store. The retail on them is right around 100-140, and figure another 100 for the box, He's not to far off on the amp price but it will very depending on where you live.

fucking out standing, my audio guy was amazed as well when he listened to it, said that is the loudest he has ever heard them, just make sure you point it to the back so the sound bounces off the rear hatch and forward, same as you would in a car. I personaly think they are excelent for the price compaired to others in the same price range....bass for rock music is tight and hard hitting, long bass hits tickle the neck hairs and tickle the ears
(edit) If you are not certian what kind it is pull it out of the box and look on the back of the magnet should say there, W1's are usually 150rms@ 4 ohms and 300max, depending what ohm subs they are, they make them for 2,4,and 8ohm

my cousin had 2 16's focal in his 4th gen, and he was at the audio shop havin it test, and there was a parkin garage across the street, all the alarms in the garage went off.
my rf punch 2 12's sets off alarms too, but i wish i had money for the focal or jl. ps i think that sub is a 12w3v2, but the way the 500/1 over here at my cost is 495

The sub looks is a 12w3v2... which would retail I think at $219. The amp retail is $549. It isn't a 12w0 because the w0s had the dust cap in the center that poked out, and the old 12w1 had the cardboard ring rather than rubber... I think. Plus you'd have to be insane to put a 500/1 on a 12w0 or 12w1... crazy enough to put it on a 12w3 because those RMS at 300.

man I cant even xplain!
My sh#t really bumps now! I mean its a little insane! It rattles my eyeballs! I really wanted more tight bass so I was going to go with a 10" sub but the 12 sounds good! You can hear the sh#t a mile away. I was suprised how good it actually sounded.DB208508 said:

it is a w3v2. 12" trust me...if ur running that 500.1 to just one sub you will blow the voice coil. w3v2 should have 250w. get another w3v2 and it will be fine...that is the setup i had in my runner before it got jacked.
