Bought my first car a few weeks ago and have been devouring all sorts of info on the site. Just bought a 1990 runner and I love it. It does have 350,000 miles though! Looking forward to keeping it going to 500,000 and beyond.

Hello and welcome, Harvesa! Congrats on both the car and especially the truck. They're great rigs, even with high miles. I still wouldn't hesitate to modify one like that, as long as the rust is under control--that's about the only thing to get concerned about (underneath, not necessarily the body, which can be fixed fairly easily).
