Just bought my 2004 4runner tonight. It is the Sr5 model with the V6. I have to say I am very impressed. Very nice interior. Smooth ride, and I got such a great deal on it. If anyone is in the market for a toyota in atlanta. I would highly recommend Sandy Springs Toyota.
Well I look forward to looks of good info on this board. Just wanted to say hi to everyone.

You are going to love it. i have had mine over a year now and have loved every minute. Watch out for some of these guys......they will spend your money for you if you hang around long enough.:jester:
 
Welcome to the forum. I know about 3/4 of 4Runners in Atlanta are 4 X 2, did you get a 4 X 4 or like most of us in Atlanta did you get a 4 X 2?

Here is a thread about a few dealers in Atlanta. That is good to know aobut Sandy Springs Toyota. I bought mine from Atlanta Toyota and I felt I was racked over the goals before I bought it, good price, but they are not much fun.

I just bought mine as well this past week.

Oddly enough, I hadn't even considered the 4R up until last week or so because I had never fit in them. But when I went to test drive the Highlander the salesperson suggested I at least give the Runner a peek.

I was going to settle on the Pilot because a full size truck is out of the question right now (no room for it). But it is hard to find what you want Pilot wise here in Northern California. So I went ahead and gave the Runner a look.

Well, it only took about a quarter mile of driving to realize what I really wanted. You all know why.

That they are actually made in Japan, are actually built to go offroad and can tow finished me off.

Here is a quick shot. I got a white SR5 AWD V6 with 17" wheels, rear spoiler, roof rack and the sun roof. Sorry for the crappy lighting. The sun isn't high enough as yet. I'll take some shots at some scenic shoreline spot near Monterey next weekend...

the funny thing was that I really didnt consider the 4 runner either, had my heart set on a 2003 QX4, but they are so hard to find and cost way more money than the 4 runner. Just went to check them out yesterday and really fell in love. The ride was great and the features were amazing. Plus Sandy Springs toyota gave me a great deal Paid about 800 below invoice on it, plus got them to give me more for my trade. And the salespeople were great.
I ended up getting the 4x2 since I would never use the 4x4.
 
I had always loved the 4Runners but I never could get comfortable in them because of my size. We were on the second day of a two week dream vacation when i saw the first commercial for the new 4Runner. My wife got so pissed because all I could talk about was how I was ready to get back and go look at them. Once I drove one, I knew that was what I wanted.

I love the solid white. I am trying to talk a friend of mine into getting one just like that.
 
Sounds like you got a great price, thholr. I paid a little over invoice.

Yeah, I was determined to find a white one with the options I wanted. I almost went for a Limited because it was white, but I usually regret getting the top of line, if only because I never use any of the extra stuff you get.

I may do aftermarket leather on this one, though. Depends on if I can find some examples of CST's work to see if it is as good as they say.

Oh, and one other reason I went for the 4Runner is I have a brother in law that is a 25 year vetran Toyota factory mechanic. He loves them.

Sure wish he lived closer.
