Joining the Mag Gray TE Club

I'm impatiently waiting for my new 2010 Mag Gray Trail to arrive. KDSS but no Nav. This will be my company vehicle until I retire at the end of this year, at which time I'll buy it from the company. Since this vehicle is priced well below my car allowance, there are funds available to equip it the way I want. I do need to get it done right away so, I need a crash course in choosing the right equipment.

Im thinking tires, sliders, and skid plates to get things started. I've been searching the various threads and checking websites, but still have many questions and would appreciate any help.

I'm a 4Runner newbie but not new to Toyota - '79 FJ40, and not new to 4 wheeling - 4 jeeps, 1 Datsun pickup, and 2 Suburbans.

So, anyone interested in helping spend someone else's money?

Congrats I just got my Mag Gray TE last week! Loving it. Planned mods are 285's and heated leather seats which get installed next monday. I hate waiting!

I suggest to add nittos grapplers tires in your new 2010 Mag Gray Trail. I think this tires will look good.

i would suggest a lift, if funds provide. there's a few Toytec kits showcased here, an Overland Warehouse setup, and a full OME suspension kit should be available any day now...

in addition to the above you may want to pick up a set of SpiderTrax wheel spacers.

New Mag Gray Trail arrived two weeks ago. Only took 10 minutes behind the wheel to confirm it was the right choice.

Thanks for the helpful suggestions. Rocky Road Supersliders should show up any day. Looked hard at Shrockworks but ended up going with Rocky Road because they mount high and tight.

Waiting to order Bud Built skid plates until KDSS version is avalable; should be about December 1. Been driving on DuraTracs for two days.

Haven't done anything about lift yet; I have a lot to learn there before doing anything.
