J's 2nd gen offroad Build! jeep parts to save $??

Hi guys

I have a 1991 4Runner SR5 V6 4x4 with manual trans.!!!
-3in lift
-32in tires
-Cold air intake
-Straight Pipes

Looking to build a good looking rig but not brake the bank.
I am a graphic designer by trade so I mocked up some ideas I had for the build.

Looking for nice front / rear bumpers for my 2nd gen and noticed the price are way to high and not a whole lot of options.
I looked on amazon and noticed the same year jeep chero XJ's have a straight front like the 4runners maybe it will work if i buy a XJ bumpers and weld to my frame,

The 4runner bumpers i saw where in the $800 range
-the XJ jeeps ones where around $200 to $300
-and Xj rears where around $400 to $500 which is do able.

I measured the front and rear bumpers
-front 62in and 64in if you account the fender flares
-rear about 64.

What do you guys think and have any of you had experience welding a non 4Runner bumper to the frame. Thanks guys

The big would be frame width of the 2 vehicles. How do the mounting points of the XJ bumper match with the Toy frame?
Unless you have the ability to fab anything you need to mate the 2.
