2014 TEP slightly modded (with nFab steps)
...41 yrs old, married with young kiddos...
But the mall lots here in N. TX require you to have rear lockers, don't they?!!

Over 50, TEP with minor mods (more coming based on need), country music (unless the teens are in the car). Bought 5months ago - 1 Pheasant hunt, fly fishing outing, 2x ice fishing, 1 snow hunting expedition with NW Overland group.
No ext warranty, not sure when next service is due.

Let's put another spin on this. :dancin:
Stock SR 5: Buys a High Point, Ruger Semi Auto, Delton rifle, Vapes and says they are as reliable/good as a GLOCK/SIG/H&K/COLT/BCM.
Also buys the cheapest suppressor and says its just as good as a Surefire Can.
Buys Wolf/TULA exclusively.
SR 5 with Tires: Buys a Canik/SCCY and thinks its as good as GLOCK/SIG/H&K
May buy a Ruger AR/Smith M&P Sport 2 and really believes its a battle rifle. :repuke:
Truly believes the .40 cal is the shizznit!
Trail Edition: Owns several GLOCKS/M&P, Springfield XD'S. May own a COLT AR but probably bought a DD because they saw LV throw it out of a helicopter.
Buys a SilencerCo/Gemtech/ can and then says Surefire and KAC are not worth the money. Probably shoots more than most, so thats pretty cool...
Buys ZQI Ammo.
TRDP : Owns Glocks/Sigs/H&K/STI/CZ, Probably doesn't shoot them, Owns Noveske/BCM/DD/SCAR 17s. Never shoots them.
Owns Surefire cans/DEAD Air/ Silencerco/KAC.. May even know which ones are better and why they cost more... But probably doesn't shoot them much.
Favorite caliber, wait for it...... 300 BRO-Out! (300 BLK OUT for the non firearm peeps)
Limited: they are scared to admit they own a firearm. :fro:
I'm the TRDP guy who actually runs his truck and firearms. I have been called a jerk many times. :yo: I have the best time hanging out with the Trail edition guys because they use their stuff. I do not shoot 300 BRO-Out.....
I do own Oakley's, do not own an Affliction shirt, paid just under msrp, Never owned a WRX, but my wife has a GOLF R. So, I guess I'm a tweener.

Great thread! Not sure where I fit in. All I know is that when I had a Range Rover and my lady drove it she noticed "chicks" looking at it. Now when she drives my modified TE she notices "dudes" looking at it. :nod:

Dang, this is the one that got me.
24. Modded Trail Premium. KDSS. Extended Warranty. Never miss a service appointment. Off-road from time to time but nothing too extreme, hence the N-fab nerf bars. Own a shitload of Patagonia and North Face Gear. Debated back and forth about putting stickers on my truck but felt like it would give me too much extra horsepower.

Other 4Runner owners seem pretty cool in-general. I was in Marin the other day en-route to one of the few remaining brick and mortar camera stores hunting for large format lenses and a dude in a built up 3rd gen pulled up next to me giving me the thumbs up and pointing at my sliders.
Oddly I've been parking-lot-intimidated by Tacoma owners in both my 4Runner and land cruiser, they park super close or otherwise obviously rudely. Not all Taco owners cause I've had some good conversations with them, but it happens more with that group than the FJ cruisers or other 4runners. Land cruiser owners have always just been totally chill, waving low-key or striking up 20 minute conversations in front of ace hardware/grocery store/gym etc.
I've never had a conversation with a JK owner since I sold mine, but I've had numerous built CJ and YJ drivers park next to me or chat.
Wow. This whole thing frames me as a hardcore mall crawler... but its where the majority of my biased experience comes from. You meet anyone out on the trail and the type of rig your in is the last thing to be brought up, theres an air of mutual respect and we're usually just more concerned about getting info on trail conditions, weather, other parties in the area, travelers in distress, etc. Completely different world.

Lucky dog. Every time I see a broad behind the wheel of a jeep, 4runner, or any other true 4x4 I think to myself "dang, I wanna meet her!" I'm glad your lady likes driving your rigs, always helps having the significant other enjoying/supportive of the vehicles you like to drive.

Interesting! I'm a late 30's male, with an extended warranty and I am not usually late for any service. I don't have a SINGLE sticker on my 4R and I don't listen to NPR anymore.
