June 20-22 Hidden Falls - Austin - TX

"It looks like Heart of Texas off road club will be hosting a beginners run at Hidden Falls June 20-22nd. All makes and models welcome. Camping and Family Friendly.

When:
June 20th ( Friday night set up camp )
June 21st - Good beginners runs - Bunny Trails
June 22nd - Maybe a more intermediate run for those feeling cofident

Where:
7030 E Fm 1431 , Marble Falls, TX 78654, Marble Falls, TX 78654

We tend to camp at Area 51 but Area A and B both have RV hook ups and working bathrooms/showers.

How much:
Hidden Falls Adventure Park
We usually do 2 nights camping and 2 days wheeling for around $70 I think is what I paid last time. The fees go entirely to the park not to the group.

What should I bring:
A positive attitude , what ever you deem necessary for camping if you choose to stay the night ( hotels in town 8 miles from park ) , A CB is VERY helpful. We will have our resident CB tuning tech with us if you have one installed or you can pick up a handheld for reasonably cheap. CBs are not mandatory but are very helpful.

1. Will totally stock rigs be okay for this? I literally paid her off on Tuesday this week and won't start mods until next month.
2. What time do you think folks will head out each day? 21st will be a stretch due to some commitments, but I could make the 22nd.
3. Seems like CB radios are the way to go here. Do you or anyone else here have one in particular you recommend?

1. Yes. We are dividing the group into different levels. Your stock rig will not be alone.
2. We usually roll out of camp around 9-10 every day.
3. I am still using a hand held midland CB. Its OK. I would recommend getting a robust unit.
