That looks Beastly! I was looking at that but didn't pull the trigger. Truck was acting up and found out it was the starter. I'm looking at Demello or white knuckle. I'll be armored next time!

Hrmmm. I might be good Sunday afternoon depending on time frame. If the ex isn't doing anything with my son she'll be at home in Highland so I can grab him on the way home.

THANKS! i was originally going to go with White Knuckle, but they were going to take too long for my tastes... i'm happy with the look of these things - now i just need to be happy with their performance

There's a couple people that come from that area/direction one being J&C Coach
the gentleman posting below he comes from Oxnard then there's a couple in the Valencia area and Santa Monica area ..maybe rally up together makes the drive a little better. I have a lot of people that drive a couple hours or more to make it and it's worth it. You could also camp afterwards there's a few people camping and make it a two day thing so it's not such a long day for yourself ifs that's what has you on the fence.
Then we can get you off that weenie list...

Yea, even with 7 batteries I ran out of juice before the last part that would have looked great on video. I need to make sure I start pausing when we are sitting still for long periods so I don't record hours of nothing.
I also got a knock off of a knock off of a go pro for the next run. $400 hero 4 silver vs. $66 knock off with better specs, I had to try it out. It has good reviews on Amazon. Having a second angle will make the next video even better.

A lift will give you a few extra inches of clearance to make it over an obstical without damage. Sliders will protect you no matter what size the obstical is. Sliders saved me enough money from not having body damage (including one time almost flopping) to probably buy an icon stage 7 lift a few times over.

Alright So I went up Sunday afternoon to pre run another section of the trail and luckily I did so. Cause this would hav been a big cluster Fuk and the most sketchy cluster so much so this would have taken up the rest of our day taking anyone of these tip top mountain trails or any one of the Spurs, I did them all. Every single one of them are exactly the width of our rigs and one side is the mountain cliff/edge at all times no room for error and each one is a dead end which we knew but literally a dead end barely enough turn around space for one maybe two rigs at best and that's a 10 point turn. The trails themselves are awesome with unbelievable views any which way you go but if your not good with heights or being on the edge of a mountain side, I don't recommend.
30 rigs on Tip Top Mtn Trail or any of its Spurs impossible at best your worst nightmare.

Thanks for checking that section out, I was concerned about it and was gonna recommend anyone that wanted to run it that only very small groups could do so. So sounds like it would be a good trail for 2-3 trucks tops, no good for our massive group. It's all good we still have 2N61Y and 2N70Y to choose from which I think will be a blast from the pics you posted.
What is the star you have marked on the map? Is that the off-road coarse/chill spot/ lunch break spot?

Exactly correct on all that ..definitely 2-3 rigs max to run that trail and all of the Spurs took me an hour-ish. Lots of mines,cool views and on the edge of your seat or passengers seat trails kind that get you sweating a bit.
I agree I think the other two trails will take up plenty of time.
And yes the star is exactly that the course area and meet and chill spot..I actually got some killer shots of that whole area from above on top of the mountain and it's pretty cool people can mess around with there rigs and get some shots on the course, kick back under the trees with your rig and eat lunch watching people goofing around and there's mine shafts against the mountain side for people to go explore a bit.
