ok... might get some backlash for this, but figured it never hurts to ask...
the guy that's done the work on my rig would love to tag along... full disclosure ~ he has a jeep. figured it wouldn't hurt to have him out to network if people are looking for a reliable shop to do work. completely understand if that is not kosher...

Man, I was hoping I wasn't going to have to bring my tool box this trip, but I guess I have to now. J/k have him come, he can go back and tell his jeep friends how cool 4runners are.
On a side note I got this thing in the mail today. Don't have to worry about a broken metal shackle flying through my back window anymore.

Yup you nailed it..and thanx I just want things to go smooth for running large groups like we have been the last few months and I think it's the only way you can to to keep it enjoyable for everyone and to continue to do so with as many rigs as possible. I want the typical thinking by most that going with large groups sucks or to many rigs don't work that it's always a cluster f...
And I think so far it's been working..yes there's still gonna be uncontrollable things like blown tires, breaking parts, etc. But with that many people also comes a wealth of mechanical knowledge, parts,tools,and recovery. Combine all that together and we equate to a master mechanic and his shop but a lot more hands and people willing to help. Which means your up and running back on the trail having fun in no time.

Yeah man no problem he can roll, just tell him to leave his jeep at pappy & harriets and he has to ride with you. That way he atleast knows he can make it home and less tools we'll have to bring.
But if he still decides he wants to drive his Jeep with us he has to rock my Toyota flag at full mast on his Jeep. He can be our mascot, Choice is his.

They have to fix their cars more often than we do so they should be more experienced in fixing things when it breaks.

sure do... he only bought the jeep after the customer who he built it for got bored with it... his work is impressive

Hahahaha..you know I'm just bustin ballz. More the merrier, plus your Fab guy will probably be great contact for a lot of the guys going on the run for future builds or mechanic wise. He did a hell of a job on your rig and continues too...plus it's good for him and his business to get in the T4R community and possibly become a highly recommended go to shop for those looking to get their rigs worked on. Especially by someone who is reputable in the industry with skills to back it up.
I'm sure a couple of deals will be made out on the trails that day, win win for both.
We also get to show him how 4Runners do it!! LOL

haha as always... i would expect nothing less from you. yes, i agree about the job he's done on my rig ~ i moved further away (by my out if state standards), but will continue to go back to him. btw ~ finally got the spacers... kept on thinking about how yours looked after we went on the pre-run... i had T4R envy LOL
