I fly out that day for a nice vaction down on the Gulf Coast. Sorry I can't make it. Because if I could, got a good project I need help with. I need help tearing apart my dash and installing an iPod adapter. That is my next project. Y'all have fun and if there is one in July I am free all but one weekend.

Koz......how was the outer banks? Did you take your runner on the beach. I think you went there....or was it Fingers?

Also, what about maybe Jul 9 for Paragon, or some other kind of off-roading thing....as long as I don't get my truck damaged..:)

I leave on Monday the 20th and return from the OBX on Sunday the 26th. But don't wait on my account. Not sure if I will drive on the beach or not. My Dunlop's are on their way out. I have never driven on the sand, so I am not sure if thread depth is a factor or not? Bryan: I can

Also, Mark.......that wouldn't happen to be a brand new 4 runner there would it. Did you trade in your other one?

That is my new 4Runner. I picked it up this past Wednesday. To be honest with you, I didn't want to give up my 2003 Sport but I really didn't have much of a choice. On June 8, I brought my truck in for routine service and told them to check the brakes because I didn't think they felt right. They found that the the front left brake caliper was bad and the parts were on "critical" backorder, which means there were none in the United States. There was not even an estimated time of arrival which means I would have been without my truck for a long time. In addition, they didn't know if the caliper was the only thing wrong with my brakes and can only determine that once they got the part in. Since my 2003 was a leased vehicle, they dealer offered to break the lease with no penalty and work out a deal on a new one that was on their lot.
 
Can't do July 2nd...I think that weekend will be tough since it's July 4th weekend. I might be able to make July 9...need to check my calendar tomorrow...I left it at work.
 
Why not have a quick meet on the 25th and another on the 9th? I might show up on my bike though. I did 170 miles this morning and now I know why I missed riding so much.

I'm out for both the 2nd and 9th- would anyone like to do a group drive up to the Catskills on the 16th to do some whitewater tubing on the Esopus river? I've done it several times now and it is a lot of fun- only costs $15 . . . let me know.
 
Looks like the 25th would be tough for some so I was thinking about a BBQ, at my house, on July 9. I live on a dead end, plenty parking, good sized patio, good tunes, and a HOT TUB. Let me know what you guys think.:cheers:

BBQ on the 9th sounds great.

I just went to an awesome BBQ place in Hackensack this weekend. Cubby's. The meat literally melts off the bone.

Damn. Is it lunch time yet?
 
Good thing I checked the calendar. I can't make it on July 9th either. I'm taking my dad to a Yankees game that day.

Hey Bobby...Cubby's is pretty good from what I remember. I used to work right around the corner from that place. I haven't been there in over 10 years.
 
Has anything been finalized for June 25 because it is fastly approaching? If only a few people can attend, maybe we can do some sort of parking lot meet or something like that.

It looks like most of the guys are busy. Maybe we could set-up a BBQ near the end of the summer.
