Junkyard Seat Options???

All of my seats need some love so I thought I'd buy some seats from the junkyard.... Has anybody done this or does anybody have any suggestions as to which seats will fit the best and be easy to install? I'm going to get the back seats reappulstered so I'm just talking front seats here.

I heard about this being done with fj cruiser seats. I really appreciate everyone's ideas and opinions!

I've heard of people using Scion tC seats, celica seats, 2nd gen 4Runner seats, and others. Just remember that pretty much any seat will require modifications of the track for them to fit properly.

I can't tell if you have a pickup or a 4Runner. If you have a 4Runner you should retain the passenger seat sliding feature. Some have transferred 2nd or 3rd gen cushions on to the original seat frames. There have been numerous threads on other forums so try google.

I just finished installing 2nd gen seats in my 1st gen, while also keeping the passenger slide feature.
