What Junkyard spares to keep on hand?

OK guys, I'm still new to 4runners and have a few questions. The local yard has some new 97's in and they're pretty complete (minus the parts I've already nabbed.)

Anyway, what parts are good spares to grab and keep on hand for trail repairs or whatever? Throttle bodies, MAF's, Coils, etc etc?

MAFs, IAC valves, CV axles, maybe charcoal canisters. Those are some of the smaller things I would think would be handy to have as spares...or that you could even sell to some people a little cheaper than OEM costs.

I've been using BrianSD_42's search religiously. I guess I just didn't use the right terms. That's why the low post count for the few months I've been here. I haven't needed to.

Never heard of a throttle body going bad chances are if a maf is in a junk truck it's dead same with springs though some one did some deal with the devil and found a toyotec lift kit in a junked runner.

I would nab ball joints (if you're sure they are OEM) and front and rear axle shafts especially fronts. Maybe a set of lower rear links.

No problem! The google search way will obvious better in most cases but I find using the 'in-house' advanced search feature when trying to narrow down to specifics. All I did was go into advance search and look for specific titles with the word 'junkyard' in it. Greatly narrows down the search. You learn over time, no worries. I've been here a long while. Good luck on your junkyard hunt.
