just bought 1985 T4R low miles

Hey guys I just got a 1985 4Runner with ony 83K miles on it. The rig was bought new from a dealer about 70 miles from me. I bought it from the second owner who owned it for just a short time before I bought it from him.

It is a bit rusty here and there but the frame and undercarriage look great. It is a 22re with the automatic and has A/C but is a radio delete rig. Pretty plan Jane but cool

The tires are 33"x12.5"x15" Dunlop A/T Radial Rover and the rims are Centerline as far as I know, they were put on by the secound owner. I put the wheel/tires up for sale local ($500) or trade for stock aluminum SR5 wheels.

The truck was bought new by a lady and I guess she needed A/C (Florida) and the auto shift and nothing more. The truck was never off roaded, I don't think the top was ever off, it was used as a grocery getter.

I bought it for the engine and trans because I also bought a 1986 pickup with eXtra cab 4x4 with no engine. The PU is for my son and is going to be a father son project. I will be selling off the 85 4Runner as parts once we get everything we need off the truck.
The pickup has a 5 speed trans and my son needs an automatic. I may put the 5 speed in the 4Runner along with all that is necessary to go with that 5 speed so all the truck will need is a engine to be whole again.

The tailgate and window on the 4Runner is mint, no rust and the window goes up and down perfect
