Just bought 2007 4runner

Hello, my name is Michael. I just bought an 07 Toyota 4runner, however I am confused?? It's a low mileage vehicle sr5. V6 and it is and?? From what I now understand it's supposed to be selectable 4wd?? I'm lost here. It has a auto lsd button and that's it, I've been under neath it, it definitely has front transfer case and definitely all works, were in the smokies and we went up planchard blanch road out of cades cove after a real hard rain, steep climbs in muddy slippery road that comes out on the dragons tail, it never slipped or nothing, also it is supposed to have down hill assist and some other features? Am I missing something?? I though only the v8 models were and?? Someone help me. Thanks

Well I swear at the dealership it was 4wd I thought I saw cv axles in the front... I was wrong, 2wd.. How decent is this system for exploring trails and such. Nothing with a 3 rating, like 1 and two trails.. I really am tempted to go back to dealership and get them to swap me
For an sr5 with 4 wd, I don't know if it screw my credit or not.. Any advice??
