Just bought a '97 4runner

I posted the specs in my signature. The car is mint and records of the car say that I really have no work to do to it. The owners had just put new tires, breaks, plugs everything! Engine is very clean, not even a spec of dirt on it. I did change the ooil, however. Not fond of doing it on this car. Kind of awkward.
Does anyone recomend any upgrades/mods that are popular? I've read about the deckplate mod, and sounds like something I'll do. Also plan on doing a Borla cat-back exhaust with a high-flow cat. Not going to worry about that till the exhaust starts leaking though.

congrats on the 4runner and welcome to the forums. as for mods, it all depends on what you plan on doing to your truck. you can go down the lift and go off roading way, keep it stock, make it a street runner, lots of options. post up some pics, tell us what you plan on doing and we will help you out.
