Just Bought A New Car

I sold my 98 Camry and bought this 01 Audi A6 2.7 Turbo. I got a screamin deal on it.

Is it Quattro? I hope so

Also, that TT 2.7 has a lot of potential. My friend had a sh*t ton of money in his 2001 B5 S4, and it moved like stink
 
As it sits it has 58,327miles on it, it only had 1 owner and the dealership provided me with all the paper work for all of its maintanence which I think this guy took better care of it than I do to my 4runner. Yes it is a quattro and im pretty sure it does 0-60 in close to 5 seconds, so yes its faster than piss. Its fully loaded, has a sunroof leather and Im am currently sitting in it right now installing a pioneer in dash dvd, sat.nav., sat. radio, bluetooth and headrest monitors. It does need new brakes but thats about all I can find wrong with it. AND... its black and matches perfectly with my 4runner. Im prepared for the high mainanence and insurence cost but like I said, I got such a good deal on it, I couldnt pass it up.

Close to 5 seconds? Is it chipped or something?

My friend's heavily modded S4 (KKK turbos, AWE exhaust and intake, APR lowering springs, RS4 clutch and cross drilled discs, GIAC Stage II chip, etc etc) did 0-60 in 4.6

Buying an Audi is a pricey adventure, After a couple of visits to the repair shop we traded our 2002 Allroad for a 02 land cruiser.
 
Im not really sure what its 0-60 is. Im just guessing but it is fast as hell though. I just put my foot down getting on to the highway on my way home and I looked down not even noticing how fast I was going and I was doing 120. Its so smooth too. 120mph felt like 60mph in my 4runner. Im not sure if im gonna do anything to it. But thats what I said when I first bought my 4runner and now I have over $6k into now.
 
Do you regret doing that engine work to the 4runner now? I'm sure 3-4k into the Audi could make a HUGE difference.

Still gonna do the supercharger?

Clemson's right. 4k will go a long ways with an Audi. Much larger aftermarket support (at least engine/performance wise) than 4Runners. Chip it, throw some meaty tires and wheels on it, and maybe put stiffer springs in and you're good to go
 
my friend had A4 and that sucker would move! i bet the A6 quatro rips compared to that thing, and driving it in tiptronic is the shit. i love how an idiot could just get in and drive it in tiptronic, they designed it to were you can't mess it up, at least my ex girl friends G35 was like that and my friends A4 was the same way. you should black out the windows and rims, get good sound exhaust and a chip and that thing would be sweet. i'm glad you got your REAL race car haha.

My dad has a 02 A4 1.8 turbo with the 5 speed and it's really fun to drive. Audi's are probably the most satisfying vehicles to drive. The Tiptronic is fun but the stick is better:D
 
ya I wish I could've gotten a stick. I dont like the way the auto shifts. Even when you're on it hard, it just gives you a bit of a love tap into the next gear. I like it better when cars slap you into the next gear. So ya it is kind of a gentlemens car with a kick.

No, I am continuing as planned with my 4runner and I am very happy with what I've done and am doing to it. Like I've said before, it's the uniquness of building a 4runner is what I love so much about doing it. And even though I say now that Im not gonna do anything to this audi, give it a year and Ill probably end up sinkin a few $k into it.

my dream garage is a A4 2.0T quattro, my 3rd gen with some 35's, and a beater toyota pickup....so all that's left is put 35's on the 4runner and buy the audi...

According to audiworld.com, the official 0-60 is 6 seconds so your guess was pretty close. i usually take whatever time i think the 0-60 is and add 1-2 seconds
 
Nice car Matt. Doesn't need to be compared to anyone else's ride and I don't need to tell you what to do with it.

The A6 speaks for itself.
