So I bought an 88 4runner for $1600 with 185k on it and this is the best deal I think I have ever gotten on a vehicle. The guy didn't have time for it anymore and the wife wanted it out of the driveway so he had to do away with it. Everything is mechanically in order. Engine runs great, clutch feels new, brakes are good. There are only two things wrong with it. The rear window doesn't work, but I think I have narrowed it down to the rear wiper switch that is faulty. The rear diff is going out. I have a spare rear diff at a friends house that I picked up for $100 so I think I will swap it out when I install my pro comp stg2 lift.
