Just bought an Optima Yellow Top

Just wondering why my yellow top (dual terminal) has the battery posts on oppisite sides of the stock one?... Guess im going to have to lengthen the cables or change them to hook up differently.

You have to be specific when you get batteries for your Toyota. Most battery mfgs make them for American cars. Most product lines will have a battery number with a /R for reversed terminals. Or you can flip the battery on its side and reversed and that might work.

Why not just turn it around (left to right; forget about the labels)?

The battery cables wont reach flipped around, but I did find a Red top that will work... Posts (R), or reversed to work on the 4 runner. So im going to get one red top and eventually upgrade to two red tops when I get my winch and lights. Oh and upgrage the alternator as well.
