JUst bought my first 4runner

I am very new to Toyota. I just bought a 1998 4runner with 4cyl. It has 231k miles on it and got a great deal on it. Has had only one owner on it. I am nervous of having a car with that many miles and every one tells me that is nothing for a toyota. My father in law has a 94 tacoma with 525k miles on it with original engine and tranny. Do I have a good car? What should I look out for?

Congrats on the purchase! You are going to get moved into the 3rd gen section FYI. I've got a 4th and don't know much about the 3rd, but there are some very cool peeps on here that will steer you right!
