just bought some hella 500s

picked them up today from advanced auto parts for 70 dollars. i plan on putting them on my brush guard soon, but most likely will be next Saturday. anybody else running a set? i plan on using them for bad weather and swapping back my headlights to my luminics pure blue, the silverstar ultras are to yellow looking for my taste.

Hella 500s are awesome

$43.80 for me on amazon I love that place.

Best lights I have ever had for that low a price-if you need help with wiring them up let us know....

check over on Yota Tech there is a awesome dude who wired up HIDs in a Hella body.

and has removable plastic yellow film tint for fog conditions.

yea rock slide, he actually only lives about an hour from me, he does alot of great stuff.

mine are the driving lights so they didnt have any yellow film on them.

I turned mine upside down, I use them as my high beams on back roads. They've got silverstar ultra bulbs in them too, but be sure to turn them off when you pass someone because they are blinding!

Fo Sheez you mean those are a plug and play replacement bulb into a 500?

which bulb is that? H3?

sloan that is just it-his are the driving lights also-but by adding a removable tint they can go fog -kind of dual purpose light with just a little piece of yellow film.

You guys are so inventive- I would never dream of this stuff on my own.
