Just finished installing my new Silverstars...

Whoever said replacing headlight bulbs was easy must have fingers of a 13 year old girl. It took me about 30 min on the passenger side (that was supposed to be the easy one) and a good hour on the driver's side (truely a huge pain in the ass!!!)
Because of the battery, there is very little room on the driver's side to work with and my short stubby fingers did not make it any easier.
After I finished the right one, I turned the lights on and the difference in color against the garage door was very noticeable. Silverstars are white with a hint of blue, whereas stock bulb is dull and yellow.
Will go for a ride a bit later and hopefully there is a big difference in visibility at night. Stock ones were terrible in that department.

night visibility is much better with them, that was the first thing i changed

as for the battery being in the way...why didnt you just undo the battery tie down and slide it over ? It took me about 5 mins to change both bulbs.

I like my Silverstars (over two years on 'em now) but their wet weather visibility leaves a little to be desired but I helped that with a set of Hella Yellowstar bulbs in the fogs.
