Just finished OME lift :)

I'm pretty happy with the results. I wish I could have kept the original 3" lift up front, but it was causing really bad vibration at freeway speeds, so I had to have it taken down to about 2.5". I don't know how some of you guys are able to get a full three inches without running into complications. I already have a diff drop installed, which had to have helped slightly. But anyways, it rides a lot better at 2.5". I'm having some problems with the vsc thinking its sliding/losing traction ever since the lift. Yes, I've already tried to recalibrate the sensors using yota tech "fog"tutorial, but it doesn't seem to work. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, but it seems pretty straight forward.

Here's what it looks like now, with 2.5" front and 3" back after removing the revtek spacers and leaving it just with a suspension lift.

I also traded in my mud terrains for these new Nitto Terra Grapplers. They ride much better, I'm just mentally preparing myself for getting stuck in the mud more frequently....

So you tried the Zero point calibration and that didnt help it?

Thanks Ripcord! Yes, I tried the calibration step-by-step about 10 times. Every time I did it, the abs light would blink and I'd still have the vsc problem. I tried downloading Fogs PDF tutorial on Yotatech, but it's no longer available. I don't know what I'm doing it wrong, or what. I checked the diagnostic map so many times to make sure I had the wire in the correct terminals. Maybe I'm missing something, or possibly my Andymod 2.0 is effecting the recalibration. Idk man... Any helpful tips?

You dont have it switch off do you? Otherwise that shouldnt change anything.

I think it looks much better without them as well The last few days since the lift install I've been driving with the Andymod engaged, and I'm cool with that. I went to a local dirt spot in town today to try out the new tires and suspension and was actually pretty impressed at how well the Nitto's did in comparison to the former Mud Claw's I had. Still haven't had a chance to properly test them through all the ropes, but I'm trying not to have to high of expectations for the Nitto's when it comes to mud terrain, cause those Mud Claws were amazing! I'm going to work on my build thread this weekend, I'm really excited :frog:

I got something special planned for some flares though... Nitto's are a good tire, your running the terra grappler? if so they have a similar tread pattern to the Falken Wild Peak / Rock Mountain. They perform pretty close to the same. my buddy loves his falkens and they handle really well in the snow apparently. you did change from a "mud" tire to a A/T tire, but a lot of the AT out there will perform pretty damn close to like the mud tires do...

Sweet will definitely keep my eye out for it.

Yep, I'm running the Terra Grapplers. I love them so far, and since this is my DD and weekend off-road warrior, it makes more sense to run A/T's. I had the choice between the BFG All Terrain's and these, but the shop had to order the BFG's if I wanted them. So they made me a deal to try out the Terra Grapplers for a few weeks, and trade them in for no extra charge if I wanted the BFG's instead. But I think I'm going to hold onto these bad boys!

Ya know for an AT they do great and also they are light. The BFG A/Ts are inherently heavier. But they last a LOOONNNNGGGGGG time. I ran a set for 45k with lout the proper balance and rotation cycles and they lasted. One of the better Offroad tires but if your mainly DD I would go with the lighter tire. Better MPGs. I am gonna be running 285/75r16 Duratracs. Definitely gonna get another pair of tires that have a C load range to use for the commute. Might just get a set of falkens lol. You gonna be happy with the terra grapplers. Come to think of it I had a set on my old 98 Chevy 1500 and loved them. Minus they were pretty much worn out an had no traction in snow. (Lived in Idaho at the time.) They rode great and were quiet.

Yes it is man, it's all installed. I had it setup for three inches of lift front and back, but ended up having to drop the front to 2.5 inches in the end. I'm still pretty happy with it, and I really appreciate your help!

Truck looks awesome! Mud terrains always look great, but the AT's are so much nicer to live with daily. Look forward to seeing how the rig continues in the future.

Thanks DGO, much appreciated. The next two big upgrades will be the Shrockworks front bumper and Rocksliders I can't get the thought of it out of my mind, I'm so excited. I have horrible patience when it comes to this stuff.
