Just got a 91 4runner with the 3.0

Hi, I have just got what my title entailed and I'm super happy, but i just had a few questions...
I was looking at the side steps and noticed they just look bolted on and was thinking if i took them off it would make the truck look like it has a much higher stance. Has anyone tried this, or does it just expose frame and all that undercarriage crap and make it look stupid? I'm not too worried about them protecting the bottom of my truck because i'm not going to be rock crawling or anything...

Last as you can see in my sig, the trucks been maintained perfectly but it still has the original shocks and i was wondering what shocks you would recamend for under 200?

I know your all jelous of that huge ramp i scaled in that pic. but if it makes you feall beter i used a winch at some points.:biggrin2:

that was the first thing i did is take those steps off i hate them i will probly tear them off from a log or somthing lol but ya it gives it a better look you dont have to worry about it

Okay thanks i think they look dumb too i'll do that when it cools down a bit, its like 98 degreas today
