Well just had the following done since I have 191,350 miles on the Runner.

Timing belt ( old one was the Original from birth and almsot gone)
Water Pump
Thermostat
Upper and Lower radiator hoses
Diff. oil changed front and rear
Transfer Case oil changed
Transmission fluid and filter changed

all for $600 so not bad but still hurt. On order for me to put on is all new Sway bar bushings and Wab Fab end links for front(disconnects) and rear then ball joints also in near future.

The tech and I were both surprised to see the factory timing belt had gone 191k and glad it didnt break and leave me stranded in the boonies. Thanks to some of the recent issues people have had I think it got a few of us putting the maintenance ahead of some other mods. Originally was going to use the $600 for new Skid Row Skids front to back, after seeing the old parts I am glad I didnt wait.

congrats on owning one of the finest vehicles ever made. proof again that we are all very lucky to own these.

That is a pretty good price for all of that. I hope you used another OEM timing belt, as that should be a testament to their quality. Mine's going on 128k miles and I'll be replacing it around 150k.

The guy I used was referred by Ex-wifes uncle and an old ex-girlfriends family. He was a Toyota Master Tech and has had his shop for 18 years. Only uses OEM parts. Quoted me last month TB,WP, T-stat for $600 then when I called him 3 days ago to schedule asked told me 520 for the previous and then I added the other stuff and only took to 600 so yeah I think it was a steal. No he didnt power flush the tranny and warned against it like so many others, just filter and fluid exchange.

Nice bonus I forgot earlier he was admiring my rear DIY bumper and I told him I was thinking of moving the exhaust bracket. So I coulld take bumper on and off easier and move the pipe end a little higher for more clearance and he did that for free. " I was already working on it figured just do it since it was on the lift" Umm werent you working on the front and that is the back? Not complaining it was just simple and nothing fancy but what I was looking for in placement and FREE.
