Just got my 05'

SE V6 silver 4RUNNER.... wahooo !!!! cant say enough good things about it... glad i chose it over the 05' pathfinder... now let it snow while i work on my 350z over the winter... not to mention i cant wait to work on my 4runner as well... hopefully i wont have any regrets with the V6.... any how im stoked... and i'll be chattin with ya'all bout anything and everthing bout 4runners...

Yep, you made a great decision...I don't think you'll have any regrets about the V6...plenty of power for 99% of your probable driving scenarios!!

4R/350Z ... that's the same combo I had in mind when I bought my 4runner. I really miss my 95z. I think I've seen a couple of others on here that have that combo. Maybe we need to rename this site T4R350Z.com.

Welcome to the board, and to the ownership of a T4R. I have a 04 V8 and am curious how the new "rear wing" works. It was redesigned to keep the rear window more clean, esp. in the rain where the rear wiper must run on wet roads to keep the rear window clear. If you got the wing let us know how it works?

Welcome to the forum and good luck with the new runner. You shouldn't have any regrets about getting the V6. With the upgraded 5 speed transmission, it probably runs great. You will not have a problem finding something to talk about on this board.

No better time than to report on how the wing does in the rain since its been raining ever since ive picked her up... Since i have really nothing to compare what its like or how it does it... the rear window remains relatively clear and i dont even think i have a rear wiper... but then again... i have really looked... i think the wing is doin its job...

i like how it looks too, seems as if they took it off the lexus's bigger SUV...

I'll have pics up after this weekend after i tint her out... just priced out a new stereo head unit...

as for the v6 im quite happy with it, although 2 extra cylinders would be great, im thinkin an exhaust and a few minor engine mods well take care of the speed i need...

one last 4 wheel drive is cool... coming from the rear wheel sports car world... cant wait to take her off road some time... thanks again fellas
