Just got my Runner back

I just went and picked up my 4 Runner from the shop. I dropped it off about 3 weeks ago. I got the motor rebuilt (It had 282,700 miles on it) , all the seals in the rear axle replaced, new brakes, all new hoses on the engine, new O2 sensors, and a bunch off other little things. It came back being $2,500 for everything, more than i wanted to spend, but not like a could have gotten something that would run better than this for $2,500. It runs great, thought i would just let everyone know.

How's it run? It's always interesting to see how they run after a rebuild. Any more or less power? Mileage changes?

It runs tons better, tons more power. When i was driving it home on the freeway, i got it up to 95 like it was nothing, It never used to be able to go past like 75-80. So far, i have gone 83 miles and it still hasnt used a quarter tank of gas where as it used to go like 50 miles on a quarter tank. Plus now my flowmaster exhaust actually sounds nice. Great over-all highly recomended mechanic if you wanted to do it in Utah. I have to take it back in, in like 500 miles, so he can do a check up on it and install the new reverse light switch.

A new reverse light switch? No back up lights? Hmmmm...I'm having that problem! Congrats on getting it all fixed!

Way to go $2500 for all that and all you had to do is drop it off.

I still will do the 3.4L swap when mine dies.
