Just got PIE adapter in!

Just wanted to share -- I installed a new P.I.E. auxiliary input adapter in my T4R this morning, and it's working perfectly. I've used it only for an hour or so, so I can't report on whether I'm having any of the cutting out-type problems others have reported. Installation was a snap using the dash-removal instructions on the Castulucci Web site (search the forum for the URL; I seem to have lost it.) I was expecting a major hassle, but I don't think I spent more than two hours on the whole thing. And some of that time was figuring out why in hell the rear window wasn't working after I was done. (Turns out I committed the cardinal sin of accidentally hitting the window-lock switch. Thankfully, I figured that out before tearing back into the dashboard.)

I wouldn't have known about the adapter, nor would I have had the confidence to install it myself without these boards. Thanks a lot, and Happy Holidays everyone!

what is the window lock switch?

It locks all the windows (including rear window) except for the drivers from functioning (up/down). When it is off, the windows function normally.

o ok, i was thinking there was some kill switch for the back window only.
