Just got WabFab Extended Rear Swaybar Endlinks...

So I just purchased WabFab's extended rear swaybar end links for the rig.

My question is, do I need to buy endlink bushings for when I install them onto the car? If so, which ones?

And yes, I searched, but all I found was info on the 3rd gen version and was wondering if there was any difference with the 4th gen one.

End link bushings? It should have bushings included with it for the upper mount and the lower mount doesn't need one.

On a scale of 1-10, it's a 1. If I can remember, it took me maybe 15 mins total and that was with finishing the beer.

This. Although I will admit I did have some trouble getting the nylon lock washer on backwards. Might be worth heating it up and melting the nylon out since there's another locknut backing it up anyway.

Ratcheting wrenches help too. But those help with everything.

whats the reason of aftermarket end links? performance better in anyway, on road or off road??

The new links allow the swaybar to run at closer to the same angle as from the factory.

When the rear is lifted the swaybar angle is changed and this leave the swaybar somewhat in a bind.

With the extended links the tension is relieved and the rear end can travel a bit more easily/freely.

When I installed mine the big difference I noted was the rear end absorbing washboard roads and such more easily.

I suppose it might since it takes some tension off the sway bar but I'm not 100%.

There are flex pictures in my build from the day I installed them, before and after. I don't think the flex was greatly increased, I also removed the front sway bar at the same time so the pictures won't be accurate for links alone.
