just got windows tinted

hey guys, just got my windows tinted at omega werks in pleasanton ca, appearently this guy was recommened by my uncle who owns audiomobile, and they are good high school friends, since he has 20years in window tint, this is the guy i can trust, also i found out he knows my friends since they used to hang out. anyway got my windows tinted with LLumar Axcess, this is the best film that wont interfere with radio signals , good for us runners since the antenna is built onto the glass, and for people with 2 way alarms, got the front done with 30 and the rest is 15 over the stock privacy glass, looks nice and dark, kinda made it look like 5, gona have to find sometime to take pics since this weather over here in oakland ca is raining this all week. best money i have spent and been waiting so long to do. if anyone is from the bay area, take your vehicle in and see his work. took him about 3.5 hours to do my truck. also he is a one man installer, so no other people would make the tint mis match.

I went to him...his name is Vincent , he didn't want to help me. Maybe it's because I only wanted to do (2) windows & it wasn't worth his wild, didn't make much money off me. I asked if I can make an appointment & he says it's booked till blah blah blah, I didnt' care, he just didn't let me make an appointment. He goes: "call me this friday & see if I have a slot for you" BS!!

His work is without a doubt incredible...but that lack of customer service may turn me away forever.

Did you see the 2008 M3 that he did a full front end clear bra?


I want to redo my tint, make the front darker & throw some tint in the rear, for comfort & privacy.

i didnt see any m3, but i saw his s2000 his daily driver, but call him and tell him i sent u there , thomas with the 4runner, he is a one man company, take his time to do quality work. time and paitence will have the best outcome. its true that he will be book after this month since its cgoing to get hot in the valley u know. also since u are only getting just 2 windows tinted, it might not match the other tint u have on the truck, might have a different color in the tint, also what tint u have? as in wat brand. i used this LLumar Axcess ad he tell me its ceramic, so no metals in it.

Tint shops will tell you what you want to hear, as will any other shop. I've never even heard of that tint.

Nice, lets see some pics. How come you chose to go with 30% on the fronts?

I just got my rear windows tinted with 15% formula 1. So now I have 15% all the way around plus 50% on the windshield. I think it is perfect for me, living in seattle it is overcast 75% of the time and you cant see in any window when it is overcast. When its sunny you can see through the rear window as well as the front two windows at certain angles, you could probably tell how many people are in the car but thats it. If we got 300 days of sunshine per year I probably would have gone with the 5%, but since I live where I do I am happy with this...

I have Formula 1 on my truck too. I have 5% on the front 2, double limo on all of the back windows, and a 5% strip on the top of my windshield. Unfortunately, I do have to deal with the 350 days of sunshine a year.

he only carries the best stuff,also it has a lifetime warranty. I wanted to do limo,but the llumar axcess he had comes in 15 30 40 50, Ill get some pic soon. I think this stuff is similar to the formula one pinnacle series if I'm not mistaking.

Yeah, I had a feeling it was based strictly on what he fed you to sell his product.

But as long as you like how it turned out, it doesn't matter what pitch he gave you to get your $$.

Yeah I'm not sure I've heard of that brand either. My 15% 3M looks great and matches perfectly, but as long as you like the look that's all that matters! Let's see a picture.
