Bellevue, actually. We are having some ccccoooollllldddd weather up here.

Awesome to find a forum like this.

1999 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4x4 - V6 - Silver with leather and most options.

It's actually my girlfriends vehicle, but I do most of the maintenance.

It did not come with heated seats, so I'm hoping to add them for a Christmas present for her. Gathering parts now. Tell me this is possible. (I hope).

Second question of the day is "Is that main LCD (?) temperature display in the center cluster supposed to be lighted?". At night it is hard to see what the blower temp is set to, or what the outside temperature is.

:thanks:

Temperature display

You should be able to pop the center cluster out and you'll see a small interior dash light, there should be a part of the center cluster where you can pop the front face plate and you'll see 2 screws that hold the whole cluster in place, yank the cluster out with caution and you'll see the tiny cluster light maybe 1 or 2 of them. I just changed mine but my 4runner is a 1997 and only had 1 bulb right in the middle. But there's not that much of a difference, your's just have a digital temp display and mine are all non digital with the cup holder to distrack you:(.
