Just installed HID's from Xenondepot!

Just wanted to give Steve from Xenondepot a huge thumbs up for great customer service and fantastic products.

I installed his Phillips 4300k kit on my 4runner today and the entire job took less than an hour. everything fit perfectly and the HID's look beautiful.

Congratulations! Where did you mount your ballasts? Have you driven around at night to see how the glare is?

Did you move the squirrel finder? That should eliminate some glare, it helped clean up my pattern. I had XD kits on both my 4R's, love em!

I have this guy next door he put HIDs on his Auto. I noticed about every Month one or the other HID would be dead. He replaced them for around a year,then I now notice the HIDs are gone and standard bulbs are shining bright.

I've had a XD kit since Jan '06 in my other car, no problems with it. The one in my 4Runner since Oct '06, no problems with this one either. Both of these were the Philips kits.

The problem your neighbor might be running into is an inferior or improperly installed kit. I believe you get what you pay for and HIDs are no different.

I bet your correct this guy just gos for show not quality, they were really strange bright blue but did not have any reach. They did nothing to light up the street.

I must be SUPER ANAL...I think I took close to 4hrs haha.

But that's because I was taking hecka pictures & zip tie'ing everything to make it clean.

Took me about an hour. Granted i wasn't snapping any pics, but i've done a few sets before. Everything was zip tied and tucked away nicely.

ive had the same kit since jan of 08 and I usually drive with them ON during the day as well. They make a REAL good kit

Did you get the xtreme kit or the philips kit?

I've got both. Philips 4300k for my low beams and Xtreme 3000k for fogs.
