Navigation ..off ??

Hello fellow 5th genners. I'm brand new to the forum(just bought my 5th gen bizzard pearl, limited) and this is my first post.

I have a very simple yet annoying "feature" that I'm hoping one of you can help me with. Although I didn't opt for the navigation, my runner came with it....which is fine but the issue I'm experiencing is that I can't shut it off ! I would like to be able to hit the "audio" button next to my navigation screen and view the details of the audio I'm listening to....and have it stay on the audio screen. But the navigation keeps overriding the audio screen which is really annoying because I have to keep hitting the audio button, everytime I would like to change a station or see what's playing on the stereo.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Great question. So good, I've asked it myself. Here;

Push 'Setup' button
Push 'General'
Push 'Auto Screen Change'
Change to 'Off'

Congrats on the new 4Runner.
You should have got a big thick manual on the Nav system. Good idea to read it at least once! It's all in there.
