Just purchased a 2005 Sport v6.

Hi I'm new to the board. Great site! Just purchased my first 4runner. I had a 2002 tacoma. Needed a bigger vehicle, and so far I love everything about it.

Thanks! I will post some pics soon. I love this thing! The brakes feel awesome, 5speed automatic is smooth and the ride is great. I can't feel too much running over pot holes. It is a 4x4 with moonroof, and side curtain airbags. The alighnment is slightly off but other than that everything else is perfect. I did not see any 2005 v8 on the lot yet. The 4.0 litre is a big improvement over the 3.4.

Can you tell me which dealership you bought your 4runner from? I am trying to find a 05 Sport Edition with side airbags. There are none in my area. Thanks!

my dealer says SE's do not come with side airbags.

Wow... Congrats on the new 05' Sport. I know you'll love it. I was planning to go out this week to buy an 05' Sport 4wd V6 for the wife. I love my 04' Limited V8 AWD, but she wants the sport, and the better gas milage of the V6. That info about the Petaluma dealer is perfect. I bought my 04 in Concord, CA for $500 over invoice earlier this year... thanks for the post.

Starting to fill up that ash tray already. I used to trade every 2 - 3 years, but I just now got this one the way I want it.

No I'm keeping my baby, still lots to do on her. I'm trying to get another one, which will stay stock. For the GF, I'm tired of her driving my 4R cause she likes it much more than her Land Rover.
